Chapter 1

Lynn feels as if he is being ripped apart.

He could still feel his main consciousness, but apart from the main consciousness, Lin En found that his spiritual body seemed to extend out to another body in a different time and space.

That second “him” is currently resting on top of the corpse of a huge monster, the situation was rather bizarre and surreal.

  Am I dreaming?

Lynn blinked his eyes, and found that his main consciousness was currently lying in a cold pit. The sparse sound of rain mixed with the "bang bang bang" of a digging shovel graced his ears. Muddy rainwater slid down his body, making his clothes sticky and uncomfortable.

Lin En glanced up in confusion, and a blood-red crescent moon entered his vision. Although most of the moon was covered by dark clouds, some traces could still be seen in the sky.

Wait a second, the moon...how can it be red?

  Where is he?

At this moment, his hazy consciousness finally started to clear up. Lin En suddenly realized that his mind had really been divided into two halves, and he was controlling two bodies at the same time.

Currently his main consciousness was... being buried?!

Fuck! Did he stumbled into a murder scene?!

Lin En was shocked, but his first reaction was not that he had transmigrated, but that Conan's aura of death had finally affected him, an innocent person. But then Lynn realized that this was impossible. Rather than simply being affected by the halo of death, it was more likely he had time-traveled again, this time into two separate people at the same time.

Damn it! Ihad just destroyed the winery yesterday, now it’s all for nothing!

Lin En felt a growing anger, and the pettiness in his heart had already started to show itself. But at this moment, he felt a strong wind hit his face. Lin En instinctively put his elbows on the ground, and with a very skillful twist and roll, he avoided the incoming shovel from making contact with his head. Turning his head, he saw his attacker clearly for the first time.

It was a tall and thin man who didn’t look that strong. He was wearing a high-necked trench coat reminiscent of the retro style. His temples were graying, and he looked about 40 years of age. The man was staring at him in astonishment mixed with a touch of panic.

Is this his murderer this time?

Lin En quickly suppressed his wandering thoughts, and got up from the ground neatly and smoothly. Only then did he realize that he was in a very desolate area of the forest. There were no visible signs of human habitation, the perfect place for killing people and destroying evidence.

The strange man threw away the shovel and reached into his pockets.

Lynn is naturally no stranger to this action. Immediately, he strode forward and slammed the man's abdomen with his elbow. At the same time, he grabbed the half of the gun that the opponent had just pulled out, and then hit his opponent with a whip kick. The man flew three or four meters before hitting a tree with a dull thump. The man's body slid down and fell limply on the ground, motionless.

Lynn wasn't surprised by this at all. He then skillfully stepped forward to check whether the man was pretending to faint. After confirming that the man had really passed out, Lynn raised his hand and was about to deliver a solid blow to the back of the man's neck, but he suddenly stopped his palm right before making contact.

"Wait, this is no longer a scientific world. I won't accidentally knock people to death here right?" Lin En thought about it. Although he didn't have the principle of never killing people, killing right after crossing before having any understanding of the new world was very brash. What if he didn’t handle the corpse well and was found out by the detectives. He could only cry helplessly behind bars.

He still doesn't know what counts as legitimate self-defense in this world.

After hesitating for a second, Lynn finally decided to use a safer method—he used the man’s clothes to make a rope and tied him up.

After solving the immediate crisis, Lynn's eyes could not help but fall on the gun he had snatched from the man. It was undoubtedly a revolver, but the style was quite old.

"This style, the Victorian era? Tsk, it's terrible." Lynn played with the pistol, accompanied by the sound of "click--", and within a few seconds, he effortlessly dismantled the pistol into parts.

While observing those parts, Lynn diverted part of his attention to the “other” body he was controlling now.

Although I don't know what's going on, besides the main body, he obviously has a clone now…or a split?

With some effort, he found that although difficult, it was not impossible to control two bodies simultaneously. With that conclusion, Lin En's consciousness almost immediately reached out to the split.

As a result, the seven or eight year old child sitting on the monster’s corpse gained a little agility in his once empty eyes, but it was almost instantly overwhelmed by indifference and madness.

Lynn lowered his head and found several torn holes under him. His surroundings were covered in blood splatters and little pieces of black-red flesh that wriggled mindlessly, with twisted tentacles growing out.

To be honest, this is a scene that can make any intelligent creature lose its sanity. It is terrifying and bizzare, but the strange thing is that Lin En does not feel any discomfort at the moment, as if this was a normal daily occurrence for him. He was not shaken at all.

Lynn could even calmly make a judgment by looking at his surroundings. He came to the conclusion that he had just crawled out of the belly of the monster under his feet.

  This is his "mother".

But the monster didn't die from giving birth. Lin En could see the hideous wounds on the other party's body, which were definitely not what he could make.

"Mother" died before he burst out of her belly.

Not only that, Lynn could also see that the monster's stomach still had a bulging spot, and there seemed to be another thing that hadn't crawled out there.

  What could it be?

While Lin En surveyed the situation with his indifferent eyes, he suddenly heard muffled weeping that seemed to be coming from inside the bulging belly.

It turned out to be a child...

Lin En stared coldly at the trembling belly, listening to the cries getting lower and lower, but he didn't have any intention of saving the other party.

Even if the other party seems to be on the verge of death.

  ...

No, wait, what am I doing? Why am I just watching?

Lin En blinked, his consciousness seemed to wake up suddenly at this moment, suppressing the indifference and madness that seemed to coexist with the body.

Lin En's brows could not help but frown, and before he had time to confirm what was going on, he jumped directly to the side of the bulge, stretched out his hand and began to tear along the original wound on the stomach. It was at this time that Lin En realized just how small his current body is, but the strength seems to be great.

Just when Lynn tried his best to widen the opening a little, wanting to witness the condition of the child inside, a flame suddenly shot out from the opening. Lynn was startled, and almost subconsciously took half a step back. He saw the flaming blade cut the opening wide, and then a child who was only a little bigger than ordinary babies crawled out from there.

After the child climbed out, he curiously looked around with his bright red eyes. His sight eventually landed on Lin En who was not far away, showing a thoughtful expression.

Then, Lin En stared dumbfounded as the other party's figure suddenly turned into a ball of flames that stretched and grew, finally condensing into a seven or eight-year-old child.

This is a child who looks no different from ordinary people, with blood-red hair and eyes of the same style. Although still young, his facial features showed signs of a future handsome man. Unfortunately, it was marred by the haughty and conceited expression on his face that made people want to give him a good beating.
